Description
Demersal Fish Survey dataset on fish taxonomy-related abundance per unit area of the bed, fish taxonomy-related counts and fish biomass. more

The Demersal Fish Survey (DFS) is a beam trawl survey that has been carried out in September-October since 1970. The DFS aims at monitoring young plaice and sole in their nursery grounds in the North Sea coastal zone; hence, it covers all coastal and estuarine areas of the southern North Sea including the Westerschelde.
